• misrepresent the data or use it to harass, defame or harm any person.

Data accuracy and no professional advice

The electoral data on PolitikMY is derived from official open sources and processed for presentation. While we strive for accuracy, the data is provided on an "as is" basis and may contain errors, omissions or simplifications. Historical matches across redrawn boundaries are indicative rather than exact. Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, electoral, financial or other professional advice, and you should independently verify any figure before relying on it.

AI assistant

The in-site assistant generates responses automatically from the underlying data and may produce inaccurate or incomplete answers. Its output should not be treated as authoritative; verify important information against the source datasets.

Intellectual property

The underlying electoral data is published by ElectionData.MY under CC0 (public domain), originally from Election Commission (SPR) records, with population data from DOSM. Credit for those datasets belongs to their respective sources. The PolitikMY name, logo, design, written content, and the specific compilations, derivations and presentations we create remain our property or that of our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not use our branding without permission.

Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolitikMY and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Malaysia shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
